Brief review of last meeting: What are our biggest shared priorities?
Community Updates (Housing Initiative, Creative Reuse, Make Care Visible, July 4 Community Picnic) • Brief review of Mutual Aid Video: What’s the difference between mutual aid & community service? What energy do we share around the mutual aid model? • What are we doing? Why are we doing it? How do we want to be in community together? How does mutual aid fit in? • What are each of our fears/concerns about organizing? • What sorts of things do we need to share/discuss to create greater sense of safety in our group? • How can we flesh out concepts already discussed? What are a few tangible goals we want to put our collective energy toward? • How can we start putting action behind the ideas & values we discussed? • What assets do we have? What assets do we need? Identify skills and special interests for skill share/needs document? • Do we want to watch another mutual aid video before the next meeting?
For future conversations: • Work on community agreements? • Identify where burnout comes from & how we can take measures to reduce? • What is our model for growing?
